Techspire IT: Website Terms of Use

Last updated: 21 September 2026

These are the terms for using this website. They are not the contract for any service you buy from us: that is a separate document and section 9 explains how the two fit together.

1. Who runs this site

This website is operated by Techspire IT Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

2. Who this site is for

We sell to businesses. The site is written for people buying for an organisation rather than for themselves, and nothing on it is an offer to consumers. If you are buying as an individual rather than for a business, tell us before you buy, because different rules apply to you and we would rather sort that out at the start.

Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

3. What you can do here, and what you cannot

You are welcome to read anything on this site, quote it with a link back, print it, and share it with colleagues.

Please do not:

  • Scrape the site in bulk, or run automated tools against it in a way that affects how it performs for other people. A search engine crawler behaving normally is fine.
  • Copy our written material and publish it as your own.
  • Try to get into any part of the site, server or database that is not meant to be public.
  • Upload or send anything through our forms that is unlawful, malicious, or contains a virus.
  • Use the site or anything on it to build a competing product or a training dataset without asking us first.

If you think you have found a security problem with this site, please tell us at info@techspireit.co.uk rather than demonstrating it. We will not go after anyone who reports something in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.

4. Who owns what is on the site

The words, layout, graphics, research and guides on this site belong to us, or we have the right to use them. Our name and logo are ours.

Claromentis is not ours. We are a Claromentis partner, and the Claromentis name, logo and product belong to Claromentis Ltd. Where this site shows screens or working models of Claromentis, that is illustrative material about their product, used as their partner.

Other companies’ names and logos on this site belong to those companies, and appear because we work with their products, not because they endorse us.

5. What the site says, and how reliable it is

We write about intranets, automation, search visibility and IT, and we publish guidance, comparisons and figures. We take care to get it right and it is general information, not advice for your situation.

Things change. A figure that was accurate when we published it may not be accurate when you read it, a product may have changed, and the law may have moved. Do not make a decision that matters on the strength of a page on this site alone. Ask us, or ask an adviser who knows your circumstances.

Where we quote a price range or a timescale, it is indicative. The actual price and timescale for your work are the ones written in your quote.

6. Links to other sites

We link out to other websites when they are useful. We do not control them, we are not responsible for what they say or do, and a link is not an endorsement. The same goes for any site that links to us.

7. The site itself

We try to keep the site available and working, and we do not promise it will never be down or never contain a mistake. We may change, move or remove any part of it without telling you first.

Parts of the site are provided by other companies, such as the enquiry forms and the live chat. Our Privacy and Cookie Policy explains what they are, what they collect and when, and you should read it alongside these terms.

8. Where we stand on liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to that, and because this website is free to use and informational:

  • We do not accept liability for any loss that comes from relying on information on this site, or from the site being unavailable.
  • We do not accept liability for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site.

This section is about the website. If you are a client, the liability position for the services you buy is set out in your own contract with us, not here, and your contract takes precedence over this page.

9. If you buy something from us

These terms cover the website. They are not the contract for any service.

When you buy from us, you get a quote and a separate agreement setting out the scope, the price, how long it runs, what each side is responsible for and the liability position. That agreement is the contract, and where it says something different from this page, the agreement wins. Ask us for a copy at any point before you commit, and we will send it with your quote as a matter of course.

If you buy Claromentis through us, your use of the Claromentis platform is also governed by Claromentis’s own terms, which we will point you to.

10. Your personal data

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy and Cookie Policy. It covers what the cookie banner does, what our forms collect, who else sees it, how long we keep it and how to complain. We have deliberately not repeated any of it here, because two versions of the same thing drift apart and only one of them stays current.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update this page. When we do, we change the date at the top. The version in force is the one on this page when you use the site.

12. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them or about your use of this site.
